Ben Franklin Bridge 100th Anniversary Celebration

Join us in celebrating 100 years of the iconic Ben Franklin Bridge with a free, family-friendly event.
The celebration is free and open to the public. No registration or tickets are required, but advance registration is encouraged to help DRPA plan accordingly and provide the best possible experience for attendees.
The celebration will take place on the Camden side of the Ben Franklin Bridge near the toll plaza and will feature live entertainment, food trucks, family activities, historical displays, and the rare opportunity to walk the bridge roadway while it is closed to vehicular traffic. Meet the crews who help maintain the bridge, explore the vehicles and equipment that keep it operating, and discover the story behind a century of engineering, innovation, and connection.
Whether you’re a lifelong resident, a history enthusiast, or simply looking for a fun day out, there’s something for everyone.
Getting to the celebration is easy. PATCO trains will operate every 20 minutes throughout the event. Complimentary shuttle service will also be available to provide convenient connections between nearby PATCO stations and the celebration for attendees who prefer not to walk across the bridge. Two shuttle routes will operate continuously throughout the event: one between PATCO’s Franklin Square Station (7th & Race streets) in Philadelphia and the event site on the Camden side of the bridge, and one between PATCO’s City Hall Station in Camden and the event site.
We look forward to celebrating this once-in-a-century milestone with you!
