Six families will have the opportunity to prepare chicken stew alongside our demonstration team! But the fun doesn’t stop there. Everyone is welcome to watch the demonstration\, enjoy food samples\, take part in face painting\, and enter raffles for a chance to win prizes. \n\n\n\nBring the family\, connect with your community\, and enjoy an evening of cooking\, learning\, and fun!\n\n\n\n Register to be one of six families participating in the hands-on cooking experience. Join staff from the Camden-Downtown Branch and local photographer and conversationalist Tamika Newell to tour some of her favorite Downtown Camden historic landmarks and urban nature hotspots\, from the architectural details of Camden City Hall to plant life on the Rutgers-Camden campus. We will walk about a mile and a half total.\n\n\n\nEquipment required: any camera\, including the one in your cell phone.\n\n\n\nRain or shine\, but the event will be postponed if the forecast includes dangerous weather like lightning. Please register so we can email you if we need to make a weather move.
