One recent fire prompted city officials to temporarily shut down the company’s shredder facility\, but a lawsuit and a judge’s ordered allowed EMR to resume operations. Journalists Sophia Schmidt\, Katrina Janco and Kimberly Paynter will share their latest reporting on the fires and safety concerns at the scrap metal facilities in Camden and its impact on the community. \nRegistration is required.
